Shivshaktiyan, is a group of Indian Females, who learn & perform different indian folk dances from different states of India and showcase indian culture among the Japanese.

The North Indian classical music group consisting of Shimada Miki (Vocal - Esraj), Nakamura Yoshiyuki (Surbahar - Chorus), and Kosato (Tabla - Chorus) is captivated by the beauty and depth of Indian classical music, and they are active in conveying its charm.

It was launched in 2022 by Kathak dancer Yuki. The dancers were mainly from the Kathak club of Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, who were fascinated by kathak dance. First performance was successfully premiered in June 2023.
Yuki studied under Sushmita Ghosh, director of Kathak Kendra till now. She continues to teach the Kathak club and strives to train younger students.

We travel to Mumbai yearly to learn authentic Bollywood styles from Ms Sudha Chandran, also Ms Tejaswi Shetty who currently works in the Bollywood Industry as a top assistant to Vaibhavi Merchant. Even by collaborating with dancers, singers, and DJ who are active around the world.Our aim is to enable the exchange of cultures and to serve as a bridge between Japan and India.

Team ANGELA RAGA is a Bollywood dance team led by Angela Raga, who is known for her powerful dance and her rich and graceful expressions acquired through Indian classical dances. Members ranging from preschoolers to those in their 60s, and they enjoy taking lessons from Angela in Harajuku, Yokohama, and online. The team actively performes in many cultural events, including Namaste India.

Started learning Bharatanatyam at the age of 16 in Sapporo, from my first teacher Ms. Chikako Sato.
Now live in Tokyo and keep practicing through on-line lessons, besides studying art history in Tokyo University of the Arts.

Danceart Fusion group is run by Ridhima Bahuguna since 2006.
- Ms. Ridhima has performed in many renowned platforms in India, Dubai, Kuwait and Tokyo.
-She is Masters (MA) in Bharatanatyam and also trained in Jazz, Hip Hop, Freestyle, Kathak.
- Ms. Ridhima also leads Bollywood team at Global Indian International School’ GCC club.
-Danceart Fusion will be performing Classical Fusion, Bharatanatyam and Bollywood.

Chizuko Asami began her training under Sunil Gurukkal in 2001, at CVN Kalari (Kerala,INDIA). She started teaching Kalaripayattu in Tokyo since 2006, with years of training and experience at CVN Kalari. She incorporated CVN KALARI JAPAN together with Nidheesh Gurukkal(certified as a master teacher by CVN Kalari) after he moved to Japan in 2012. They conduct workshops in Japan and abroad with the aim of spreading orthodox Kalaripayattu techniques.
