Bharatanatyam dancer. In 2013, after visiting India when she was in high school, she became interested in its culture and started learning Bharatanatyam from Ms. Kyoko Nobi in Japan. She moved back to India in 2016 and entered the prestigious Bharatanatyam college, Kalakshetra Foundation in Chennai. She graduated from the same college in 2021 with first class honors. She is currently performing at various events to promote Indian culture in Japan.

We dance lucknow gharana of Kathak following the graceful style of Guru Kumudini Lakhia ji.
Atsuko Maeda, the director of the Kadamb Japan, won the first prize in the Pratibha Sangam Aword of ICCR this year, and has given 9 performances in 4 cities in India. She is also teaching Kathak at Kadamb Japan, the Embassy of India VCC, and TBIS.

MIYABI KATHAK DANCE ACADEMY was founded by Ms. Masako Satou, disciple of Late Padma Vibhushan Pt. Maharaj, in 2006, Tokyo, Japan. Masako has studied Kathak dance at Kathak Kendra and Kalashram in New Delhi, betwen 95 to 05, received an ICCR sholarship from 99 to 03. Studio is in Kojimachi, center of Tokyo, there from age of 5 years old Kids, to 80s', Japanese, French and Indian students enjoys learning Kathak and North Indian dance.
